Rich and tasty Brownies with Dark Chocolate, Raisins and Walnuts
Ingredients:
- 60 g plain Flour
- 60 g Cocoa powder
- 350 g Caster Sugar
- 250 g dark Chocolate, chopped finely
- 200 g Butter, unsalted and melted
- 4 Eggs, beaten
- 50 g Raisins
- 125 g Walnuts, roughly chopped
- 2 tsp Vanilla essence
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180 g/ Gas mark 4.
- Lightly grease a baking tin (20x30 cm) and line with baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, sift the flour with cocoa, then add sugar, nuts and raisins and mix well.
- Add the chocolate pieces to the bowl with melted butter, eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the baking tin and bake for 50 minutes.
- Leave the tin to cool for 10 minutes before cutting the brownies and leaving them in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.
