Simple Bread with Cheddar, Pine Nuts and Olives
Ingredients:
- 250 g self-rising Flour
- 250 ml Milk
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 30 g Butter, melted
- 150 g Cheddar, grated
- 50 g Black/Green olives, pitted and roughly chopped
- 40 g Sun-dried Tomatoes, drained and chopped roughly
- 40 g Pine Nuts, roughly chopped
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200 C/ Gas mark 6. Lightly grease a small or medium baking tin and line with baking paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour with 120 g of cheese.
- Add the egg, milk, butter, olives and sun-dried tomatoes to the bowl and mix until a sticky mixture is formed.
- Pour the bread mixture onto the tin and sprinkle the surface with the remaining 30 g of cheddar.
- Bake in the oven for 45 minutes, then remove and let cool for 5 minutes before removing.
- Cut the bread into thin slices before serving.
