BBQ Burgers with Mozzarella Filling
Ingredients:
- 500 g minced Beef
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
- 50 g black Olives, roughly chopped
- 1 Egg, beaten
- 120 g Mozzarella
- A handful of fresh Basil, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp plain Flour
- Salt and Pepper
Method:
- Mix the beef with chopped basil in a bowl, then add onion, garlic and olives and mix well.
- Add the egg to the beef mixture and season with salt and pepper.
- Shape the burger mixture into a ball and flatten slightly. Make a hole in the side of the burger and put some cheese in the hole and seal it off so that mozzarella is enclosed inside the burger.
- Coat the burgers in flour and barbecue for about 6 minutes on each side or until beef is thoroughly cooked.
- Serve with green salad.
