Pork spare ribs marinated in Soy, Honey and Rosemary
Ingredients:
Marinade:
- 3 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
- 250 ml Tomato ketchup
- 200 ml Soy sauce
- 100 g Honey
- 2 tsp grated fresh Ginger
- 4 tbsp Sherry
- 1/2 tsp Fivespice
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Method:
- Mix all the marinade ingredients in a shallow dish, then mix the ribs with the sauce, cover and leave in the fridge over night or at least for 2 hours.
- Place the ribs with the marinade sauce in a large saucepan, then cover with water. Bring to simmer and cook covered for 1 hour over medium heat.
- Leave the ribs pan to cool, the leave in the fridge overnight. Remove the fat layer from the top of the pan, then heat the ribs in the pan until sauce has thickened.
- Barbecue the ribs over medium heat for 10 minutes.
