Sweet dessert with Flour, Saffron and Rosewater
Ingredients:
- 200 g Wheat Flour
- 180 g Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Saffron
- 100 ml Rosewater
- 2 tbsp Pistachio, roughly chopped
- 5 tbsp Vegetable oil
Method:
- Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the flour over medium heat for 10 minutes or until it is golden. Stir frequently, then remove the pan from heat and leave to cool.
- Meanwhile, Bring 300 ml of water to boil in a pan, add the sugar, saffron and rosewater and stir until all the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the sugar syrup to the flour, mix well and heat up for 2 minutes.
- Serve warm or cold with pistachios on top.
