Chicken pieces in spicey herb Marinade
Ingredients:
- 4 Chicken wings
- 4 Chicken drumsticks
- 4 Chicken thighs
Jerk Marinade
- 1 large Onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp fresh grated Ginger root
- 1 tsp Allspice
- 2 tsp hot Pepper sauce/ Chilli flakes
- 2 tsp Thyme
- 2 tsp Coriander
- 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 5 tbsp Lemon juice
- A pinch of Salt
Method:
- to make the marinade, whiz all its ingredients in a blender and mix until an smooth texture is formed.
- Make small cuts in chicken pieces with a knife and arrange them in a dish in one layer.
- Pour over the marinade mixture over chicken, cover and marinate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
- Barbecue the chicken pieces or cook them in the oven( 220 C/ Gas mark 7) for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
- Serve with potato wedges.
