BBQ Sardines with Lemon and Capers
Ingredients:
- 8 Sardines
- 2 Lemons, cut into thin slices
- 2 tbsp Capers, roughly chopped
- 20 g fresh Mint, roughly chopped
- 1 Lime, juice only
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
Method:
- Make two deep cuts into every sardine, Push a slice of lemon into each cut and rub with 1 tbsp of olive oil.
- Barbeque sardines for 4 minutes on each side.
- Meanwhile, mix capers, mint and lime juice with the remaining olive oil in a bowl.
- Serve sardines with the sauce drizzled over them.
