Lamb steak with Oregano and garlic Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 4 Lamb steaks
- 2 tsp dried Oregano
- 1 kg floury Potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 Onions, sliced
- 4 cloves Garlic, unpeeled
- 300 ml Lamb/ Vegetable stock
- Salt and Pepper
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 190 C/ Gas mark 5.
- Sprinkle the steaks with half the oregano and season well.
- Mix onions, potatoes and garlic cloves ina roasting dish, drizzle with 3 tbsp of oil, the remaining oregano and salt and pepper. Roast for 20 minutes.
- Put the chops on top of the potatoes, pour over 300 ml stock and roast for another 35 minutes until lamb is tender.
