Spicy marinated Rib-eye Steaks
Ingredients:
- 4 Rib-eye steaks, roughly 250 g each
Marinade
- 4 Red chilies, de-seeded and chopped
- 2 tbsp Allspice
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- A pinch of Nutmeg
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 6 Spring Onions, chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
- 5 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt and Pepper
Method:
- Mix all the marinade ingredients and blend until a paste is formed.
- Coat both sides of each steak with a layer of the paste.
- Wrap each steak separately in a cling film and leave in the fridge overnight or for at least 3 hours.
- Grill or pan fry the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side, then leave to rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve with potato wedges and grilled tomatoes.
