Who can submit?

Anyone can submit a recipe card to Tooth fairy Recipes. All you need to do is to register and enter the details of the recipe and upload the image. Upon approval your submission will appear in the index. A registration is required so you can edit or modify the content at a later date should you wish.

What file are supported?

You can submit JPG or GIF images as they are the standard format for image submissions on the net. 

What is the ideal size if images?

Upon submission, the images are cropped to 250px by 250px. For best results send an image with this resolution. If you submit an image larger than this resolution, a central square of 250px by 250px is cropped and used instead. Lower resolution images are rejected as resizing upwards will reduce their quality.

What are text length limitations?

For correct layout, your title should be less than 45 character and your description less than 100. These are automatically checked and a warning  is given to you to correct them.

What happens when I submit an image?

Your submission is sent for approval. All submissions are monitored based on the quality of the image and the site that it links to. Upon submission your recipe will appear in the main index along with your content and link.

Does it take long for images to appear on the site?

Not at all. We usually approve on the same day.

What is 3D view?

If you have the correct software installed, you can view the recipe collection in breathtaking 3D view. This features is powered by CoolIris. You can download the necessary browser plug-in from their website. Once installed, an icon apears on each image  when you hover your mouse on a recipe. By clicking this button you will be taken to the 3D view where you can see this and other recipes in a visually stunning screen.

 

Can I submit any image even those borrowed from another site?

The following rules apply:

• The number one rule is that the image must make a viewer hungry! Yes it's all about food after all.
• You must own the copyright. Please do not send somebody else's photo without their permission.
• The image must be relevant to the link that is pointing to and should should ideally appear in that page.
• We reserve the right to remove posts at any time.

What if I have many images of the same recipe?

Please select the best and most appropriate one and submit it. If you think the extra image will add value, please submit that too and we will consider it.

Would I get any feedback for my submissions if it is rejected?

Absolutely. If your submission is not ideal or there are technical issues, we will let you know about it so you can modify/correct the content and resubmit. Our intention is help you, not to reject submissions. Feedback will be sent to your email.
